Service Technician - Mechanical
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The Service Technician is responsible for assisting with maintenance on our customer€™s site. The role requires liaising with relevant Sandvik service personnel to ensure site requirements and time frames are met.
To do this you will need to:
- Adhere to all Sandvik Mining and Construction Policies & Procedures especially the OH&S and Environmental policies
- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Providing feedback to enable maintenance planning improvements in terms of efficiency and equipment integrity
- Complete compliance documentation to Sandvik specification
- Observe a clear and effective communication process
- Work hours on an eventime roster (7:7)
YOUR PROFILE
Qualifications in a Mechanical trade and a post trade experience of at least 5 years is essential. Computer literacy and knowledge and experience with Sandvik products will be an advantage.
You will have a strong customer service focus and a drive to achieve targets. You will need to be flexible in your approach to work hours/rosters to meet Sandvik and our customers€™ working requirements.
